La acción consistió en fotocopiar una matriz del azul Pantone 307C, azul procedente del logotipo corporativo de la ciudad de Mataró, en las diferentes copisterías de la ciudad. Las copias se realizaron dos veces por semana durante los tres meses que duró la exposición, y se fueron incorporando a la sala conforme se realizaban. Las fotocopias siempre se realizaron en las mismas siete fotocopiadoras para así contrastar las diferencias. Las fotocopias se sellaban, databan y firmaban por los empleados de las copisterías que las realizaban.

Fue un trabajo que pretendió recoger el mayor número de muestras de color azul de algunas de las fotocopiadoras de la ciudad de Mataró durante un periodo de tiempo determinado y partiendo del azul concreto del Pantone 307C. Me interesó la técnica del fotocopiado como herramienta de trabajo para hablar de la utopía del progreso, utilizando la repetición para hacer visible los errores de las máquinas y multiplicarlos.

The project consisted of photocopying a matrix of 307C Pantone blue, a blue tone from the corporate logo of the city of Mataró (Spain), which was done in the different copy-shops of the city. The copies were made twice a week during the three months that the exhibition lasted, and were incorporated into the room as they were made. The photocopies were always made in the same seven photocopying machines in order to contrast the differences. The photocopies were stamped, dated and signed by the employees of the copy-shops that made them.

It was a job where I aimed to collect the greatest number of blue samples from some of the photocopiers in the city of Mataró during a certain period of time and I always started with the concrete blue of the 307C Pantone. I was interested in the photocopying technique as a working tool to think about the utopia of progress, using repetition to make visible the errors of the machines and multiply them.
